CryptoTalk is a community built on reputation, transparency, and trust. In a space full of anonymous accounts and quick-profit schemes, we think standing should be earned — and visible. That is what roles are for.
Your role sits next to your name across the forum and tells others, at a glance, how established and trusted you are here. There are three kinds.
1. Ranks — earned automatically
These grow as you stick around and contribute. You reach each rank once you meet both the time and the posts required:
- Newbie — where everyone starts.
- Member — 3 days registered and 5 posts.
- Regular — 14 days and 20 posts.
- Experienced — 60 days and 60 posts.
- Veteran — 180 days and 150 posts.
There is nothing to apply for — just take part, and your rank rises on its own. You can track your progress to the next rank any time under Settings → My group.
2. Special roles — by recognition
- Developer — for genuine builders. This one is not earned by post count: if you build, reach out to the team through Contact with proof of your work — a repository, a shipped product, a contract you wrote — and we will assign it.
More recognition roles may follow as the community grows.
3. Staff — appointed
- Moderator and Administrator — appointed by the team to keep the forum safe and running. Moderators are chosen from trusted, active members over time.
One important note: a role is never a reason to trust someone with your money. A Veteran badge means someone has been a good community member — not that their trade idea is right or their project is safe. Always do your own research, and never share your keys with anyone, whatever color their name is.
Contribute, be helpful, be honest — and your reputation here will speak for itself.
