banks going from "if" to "how" on stablecoins

saw this headline going around and it stuck with me. feels like a quiet but big shift, banks arguing about stablecoins for years and now it sounds like they're past that and just figuring out logistics.

curious what you all think this actually means for us regular holders though. does bank involvement make stablecoins more boring but safer, or does it just mean traditional finance slowly eats the part of crypto that was supposed to be an alternative to it?

narrative shift like this usually shows up in price before it shows up in headlines, worth checking if stablecoin supply metrics already front-ran this. from a TA angle banks coming in just means tighter ranges and less liquidity driven chop, good for risk management, boring for anyone trading the swings.
