CryptoTalk only works if it stays high-signal and safe, and a short set of rules keeps it that way. By posting here, you agree to them.
The rules
- No scams, ever. No phishing, wallet-drainer links, fake airdrops, or malicious software. This is an instant, permanent ban — and we report it.
- No advertising or shilling. No referral links, and no promoting your own token, project, or service — except where a forum explicitly allows it (for example Project Announcements, under strict rules, and the Marketplace).
- Respect each other. Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
- No doxxing. Never post someone's private personal information without their consent.
- Quality over noise. No spam, low-effort posts, or AI-generated filler. Say something worth reading.
- Back it up. Cite your sources and support claims with evidence — especially in research and scam reports.
- Post in the right place. Use the forum that fits your topic and pick the right tag. Each forum has its own pinned rules — read them.
- Nothing illegal. No illegal goods, services, or content.
- Protect yourself. Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone. Staff will never ask for them, and anyone who does is scamming you.
How moderation works. See something that breaks the rules? Use the report button — don't retaliate in the thread. Our team reviews every report and will edit or remove posts, and warn, restrict, or ban accounts as needed. We aim to be fair and consistent; if you think we got something wrong, reach out through Contact.
These rules exist to protect you and everyone else. Thanks for helping keep CryptoTalk a place worth being.
