it's MiCA compliance stuff, not tether blowing up. same reason a bunch of EU exchanges are quietly reshuffling stablecoin listings. still, if your friend's 90% USDT, that's a concentration problem regardless of the reason — move some into USDC or just hold spot BTC and sleep better.
